Replatforming pitching

Pitching our strategy, vision and architecture around replatforming our website and ordering platforms to the board with a proof of concept made with Craft CMS and our refactored API. The pitch was versus an outsourced plan with Shopify.

Integration Bloomreach CRM

Integration of Bloomreach CRM and migrating away from Selligent.

Setting up hybrid cloud and partial migration to AWS

Migrated one of our customer facing applications to AWS. This application was handling over 20.000 orders per year and containing nearly 20 TB of images.

Rebuild internal ordermanagement platform

Complete rebuild of the internal order management system for automating our production and activities around the handling of this (such as fulfillment). It was built with NodeJS, React, and MSSQL, and handles over 500,000 orders per year.

Optimization workflow in production

Optimizing a part of the production floor and the production processes through which 50,000 prints per day go in busy times with LEAN. The process became about 30 - 40% more efficient.

Backup hardening

Separated our backup network from our main network and made it air-gapped. We now have a 3-2-1 backup strategy with Veeam and a remote repository.

Network and backup hardening

Network hardening by means of segmentation using Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper switches and WIFI mesh network with Ubiquiti. Also hardened our backup with a remote repository (offsite backup).

Exact integration

Complete rebuild of our invoicing and accounting system to integrate with Exact Online to streamline our financial processes and we migrated away from Accountview.

Kamera Express datacenter

Setup a small datacenter for Kamera Expres for BI usecases using a Dell server, a Watchguard firewall and a Synology NAS together with rotating hard disks for airgap backups.

Power BI

Implementing Power BI for data analysis and made the start to become a more data-driven organization.

On-premise datacenter migration

Migrated our on-premise datacenter to new hardware and implemented a 3-2-1 backup strategy using Veeam and rotating hard disks for the airgap backup.

Prints ordering platform v2

Complete rebuild of our custom build ordering platform for ordering photo prints and wall decoration via a webpage and via a REST API (for B2B usecases) in NodeJS, Redis, React and MongoDB.

Noritsu automation and load balancing

Niche (unique) implementation giving us (to this day) a very competitive edge in the market and market leader in the printing of schoolphoto's in the Netherlands and Belgium. Competitors still work manually (USB sticks) making it impossible to compete with our speed and quality.

Profotosales v1

Launching and further developing the first version of the school photographers platform: Profotosales. With this we delivered our first SaaS solution to school photographers in the Netherlands and enabled them to sell their school photos online. Built in PHP and MySQL.
